I began studying at Wolverhampton in 2011, reading War Studies. My main focus during my undergraduate studies was on Counterinsurgency, Terrorism and Conflict Resolution. I followed this up by undertaking a Master's Degree in Terrorism and Political Violence at Kingston University in 2016.

In 2016 I was hired by the University as a Graduate Teaching Assistant with the aim of improving student progression from Level 3 to 4 and Level 4 to 5. As part of my GTA role, I completed a PGCE in Post Compulsory Education focusing on post-14 education.

I am currently undertaking professional formation to achieve Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status through the Society for Education and Training as well as undertaking a Master's Degree in History Education at University College London.
