July 2018

6 July - Chemistry Experience Day [Fully Booked]

A day of curriculum enhancing activities for students who are considering studying BSc or HND Chemistry at University. This FREE event is open to those currently studying AS Chemistry. Visiting students must be accompanied by their teacher.

6 July - SciFest Primary Day [Fully Booked]

SciFest is Wolverhampton’s two day science and engineering festival held at the University of Wolverhampton’s fantastic city campus in Wolverhampton’s town centre. This year sees a total re-imagining of the event with support from the Big Bang. The free two day festival starts on Friday the 6th of July with a day exclusively aimed towards young scientists and engineers at primary schools from across the West Widlands and all over the country.

7 July - SciFest Family Day 

Welcome to SciFest Saturday 2018! Join in the celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) at the University of Wolverhampton.

This year sees a total re-imagining of the event with support from the Big Bang.

The day time festival is on the 7th of July and gives children and adults of all ages the opportunity to explore Science technology, engineering and maths (STEM) like they have never seen before .

7 July - SciFest After Dark 

We know adults love science just as much as our younger scientists which is why this year we are introducing ‘Scifest After Dark’. This event for grown-ups only will be held at the Lighthouse Media Centre in Wolverhampton.

It will combine science and technology with stand-up comedy, music and a very special opportunity to watch a classic scifi film to give a fantastic end to our fabulous new Scifest.
