The University of Wolverhampton Race (UWR) Team took a trip down the M6 to their good friends at Bri-Stor, the UKs largest manufacturer of light commercial vehicle conversions and van storage, supplying the UK market for over 35 years.
In UWRs debut year of racing, Bri-Stor gave their Formula Renault its very first vinyl wrapping; which in turn helped the UWR team to create their iconic racing colours which are now so notable on and off the track.
Professional Racing Driver Shane Kelly and team took the Formula Renault to Bri-Stor headquarters in Stafford firstly as a way of saying thank you for the support given to them by everyone in the Bri-Stor team, and also to allow colleagues a chance to get closer to real-life racing and in turn, discover the diverse range of vehicles their company can work with!
Staff at Bri-Stor kindly allowed the team a tour of its facilities, allowing UWR to learn about the sheer size of Bri-Stor as a company - with an average of 7000 vans being converted each year.
The University of Wolverhampton would like to thank Bri-Stor for their continued support throughout the teams first two racing seasons, and the University looks forward to working with Bri-Stor closely in 2017!
