Scifest is University of Wolverhampton’s two day science and engineering festival held at the University of Wolverhampton’s fantastic city campus in Wolverhampton’s town centre.
The FREE two day festival starts on Friday the 5th of July with a day exclusively aimed towards young scientists and engineers at primary schools from across the West Midlands and all over the country.
Our young scientists can see the magic of science, hear science adventures through stories and marvel at the wonder of the universe in a planetarium as well as explore every aspect of science and engineering Wolverhampton has to offer.
The second day of the festival is on Saturday and sees a new direction for the festival. The day time festival is on the 6th of July and gives children and adults of all ages the opportunity to explore Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) like they have never seen before.
Following the success of last year's ‘Scifest After Dark’ we have decided run it again this year on the 6th of July. This event for grown-ups only will be held at the Lighthouse Media Centre in Wolverhampton. It will combine science and technology with stand-up comedy, music and a very special opportunity to watch a classic scifi film to give a fantastic end to our fabulous Scifest.
