Michelle began the MPharm degree in 2003 at the University of Nottingham and graduated in 2007. From there, she completed her Pre-registration year at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, which also involved rotations at University Hospitals Birmingham. On registration in 2008, she took a Rotational Clinical Pharmacist post at the Princess Royal Hospital, Telford and trained in Aseptic services as well as the clinical ward-based service. Michelle completed the Keele University Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy in October 2010 and then started as Hospital Lecturer Practitioner at the University of Wolverhampton/Princess Royal Hospital in January 2012.
Whilst working at the university, Michelle has completed her MSc in Clinical Pharmacy in 2013 and PGCert in Academic Practice in Higher Education. She now works full time at the university specialising in experiential learning which involves co-ordinating student placements, inter-professional learning and incorporating service users into teaching on the Pharmacy degree.
