As a multi-disciplinary researcher Dr Li has a wealth of experience in the field of Computer Science, Medical Image Analysis, Climate Change and Economics, Artificial Intelligence, Information Theory and Banking. Before he joined the University of Wolverhampton, He was a Computer Scientist at the Department of Oncology, University of Oxford, working for Dr. Mike Partridge's Imaging Group. He worked for Bank of China for nine years as a lead programmer, and then the School of Computing, LondonMet University in Artificial Intelligence as a Research Associate. From 2009 to 2012, he was a Research Associate at the Department of Land Economy, University of Cambridge working on the climate change and economics modelling. Currently he is also a member of Intelligent Systems Research Centre (ISRC) at LondonMet and the charity Disability Essex in Rochford.
