After be a full time stay at home mother of 2 for a number of years, I decided to study for my degree and become a teacher.
I began my studies with the Open University where I worked on my degree part time to fit in with my home life. In 2014, I transferred to the University of Wolverhampton to complete my degree. Also, in September 2014 I qualified as a sports and exercise nutritional advisor, which I completed alongside studying for my degree. In 2016 I graduated with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) Human Biology.
I am currently working as a GTA within the Faculty of Science and Engineering, while studying for my PGCE in post compulsory education.
My degree contained a lot of physiology of body systems. However, I have a keen interest in embryology and the female reproductive system.
I completed my honours research project on the “Influence of the Menstrual Cycle on Cardiac Autonomic Tone in Healthy Young Women”.
