About

Vik Kelly-Teare is Head of Social Care and has worked at the University of Wolverhampton for 10 years. Vik has previously worked for the NHS and various local authorities as a Social Worker and manager. Vik has vast array of experience in practice having held roles in Youth Offending, Older Adults’ Services, Sexual Health Services and prison education. Vik has extensive experience in Higher Education having been a course leader for a number of years and being extensively involved in the development and management of curricula and operational management of programmes together with acting as an External Examiner outside of the University of Wolverhampton.

Vik Kelly-Teare has responsibility for the overall management of the Department of Social Care. Responsibilities include: staff and programme management, curriculum development and resourcing, financial management of the department, together with teaching and learning.
