About

I am currently employed as a full-time Senior Lecturer within the Institute of Education, Post Compulsory Education (PCE). I am also joint Award Leader and a personal tutor on the Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) PCE.  Within the Institute I am affiliated with the ALFHE research network and have an active role in undertaking collaborative writing with colleagues.

I have been involved with Initial Teacher Training (ITE) Post Compulsory Education (PCE) since 2001, managing the University of Wolverhampton franchised provision within an FE college and have more then 20 years’ experience of Further Education as both a lecturer and middle manager.

In August 2011, I launched a small independent training provider company which specialises in providing ITE and management training whilst maintaining my links with the University in the capacity of a visiting lecturer up until 2016 when this role became permanent. My business links and networks are still maintained, but I relinquished my Directorship with the training company in April 2016.
