Sharon Yates commenced her nursing career in Wolverhampton (1992) and initially worked in surgical nursing before going on to specialise in Palliative and End of Life Care. Her background in Palliative and End of Life Care includes working at a variety of hospices and as a community clinical nurse specialist in palliative care. More recently Sharon has worked in the delivery of education within the NHS delivering a range of education programmes to NHS staff, she has worked to develop local palliative and of life guidelines and policies to support clinical practice. She currently works for the University of Wolverhampton within the adult nursing team.
