My research interests lie in the areas of Secondary Design and Technology Education, Curriculum Planning and Innovation, and Education Management (with an emphasis on occupational motivation and staff morale in secondary schools).

In looking at the wider socio-political context of secondary education (with a particular focus on Design and Technology) I am keen to explore ways in which the curriculum can be re-purposed and made more relevant to children in the 21st Century.
