I have worked at the University of Wolverhampton for 12 years and have valuable knowledge and experience within the field of Nurse Education and Higher Education.

My current role within the University of Wolverhampton is Head of Teaching, Learning, Assessment and Inter-professional Education within the Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing. Previous to my role I was Deputy Award Leader for Adult Nursing, Senior Lecturer (Adult Nursing) and Clinical Practice team lead for one of our partnership Trusts.

I have extensive experience of leadership within the University and practice setting, but also within a module team to provide a quality student learning experience. I understand the importance of partnership working within the Faculty, with external stakeholders, practice and the wider University. I am committed to ensuring and monitoring the quality of teaching, learning and assessment within the Faculty and have a sound knowledge of professional requirements and quality monitoring processes for student attainment and progression.

I have a passion for inter-professional learning (IPL) and further experience around the development and facilitation of IPL within module teams, across programmes and external partners. My commitment to quality, student learning, teaching and enhancing pedagogical practice is paramount within my role.
