A registered nurse, with experience in the peri-operative nursing field, I have taught in higher education for 12 years.  I have developed my professional practice to align with developments in the technological field of mobile learning and I am interested in the use of multi-media in online, blended and simulation learning.  As head of Multi-media and Laboratory Learning, I currently lead the Faculty response to skills and simulation learning across our specialist institutes.

Research interests

  • Militant atheism - impact of theological dogma and doctrine on health behaviours and understanding of deseases (individual interest)
  • Course development - I would like time to develop new course in diagnostic radiography
