The Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing has its own dedicated multimedia learning developments team and specialist laboratory support for the practical learning activity in the Faculty Institutes. We are an interdisciplinary team work with academic staff, external partners and service users to lead on the development of online blended and distance learning materials. We also support staff development complementing our colleagues in the University's Centre in Technology Enhanced Learning. Our experienced laboratory technicians provide staff and students with a high-quality environment in which skills development and research is undertaken.
The Multimedia Unit team brings together a number of staff with a mix of technical skills and academic knowledge to produce exciting online and blended learning experiences for FEHW Students. Find out more about individual team members skills and experience in the profiles.
The remit of the Multimedia Unit is to support staff in the development of technology supported, online and blended learning. We also support multimedia development for marketing purposes, for example producing creative and professional promotional videos or graphics for online use and corporate events.
