Virtual Sensory Room interactive tour

Experience the sensory room at Walsall Campus, which offers controlled multisensory stimulation for use in the treatment for people with learning disabilities.

The room is modelled on the 'Snoezelen' concept, which involves exposing people with learning disabilities to a soothing and stimulating environment. The University's room combines many elements which work on all of a person's senses. It is used by Learning Disability Student Nurses, some of their clients from various units around the area, and the midwifery team when they teach relaxation to their student groups.
The room is a kaleidoscope of calm relaxation through the use of music / sound, colour and touch. Please come and explore the room either through the 360 degree pictures or in person by contacting Lynne Westwood (Senior Lecturer - Learning Disability Nursing)
