The University of Wolverhampton

The Performance Hub

About Us

With an enviable track record in providing world class modern facilities, the University began construction on a new multi-million pound building, The Performance Hub, at its Walsall Campus in May 2010. This was completed in August 2011.

The Performance Hub integrates music, dance and drama facilities, teaching provision and learning support into one building, while also being a base for Creative Industries in the region.

The development allows for flexibility for teaching, learning and research provision, space efficiency allows performers to learn as they perform, thus providing an enriched student experience.

The Performance Hub with its black box performance space, aims to become a landmark focal point in Walsall. Drawing on local and regional communities across the UK, it will bring together actors, choreographers, designers, writers, researchers, dancers, theatre practitioners and musicians, ensuring that our reputation in Performing Arts grows and enriches the lives of those who engage with us.

The Performance Hub is open to all and encourages use from the Creative Industries, if you would like to hire any of our facilities please get in touch.
