Stefano joined the University of Wolverhampton in 2016 and is Lecturer in Philosophy in the Faculty of Arts. He received a Master in Philosophy and Forms of Knowledge from The University of Pisa, Italy, and a PhD in Modern European Philosophy from the Centre for Research in Modern European Philosophy (CRMEP), Kingston University, London, in 2016. His doctoral research focused on the concept of ‘contingency’ in the philosophy of Louis Althusser. He is module leader for several undergraduate modules, including ‘Introduction to Philosophy’, ‘The Enlightenment’ and ‘Freedom, Recognition, Authenticity’ and ‘Independent Study’ in philosophy.
