Live budget event for business

08/03/2018

The University of Wolverhampton is inviting businesses to see how the Budget affects them as it unfolds as part of an event next week.

The University’s Wolverhampton Business Solutions Centre along with the Black Country Growth Hub is hosting the free Live Budget event on Tuesday 13 March 2018.

As well as having the opportunity to watch the budget as it’s delivered by Chancellor Philip Hammond MP, guests can then hear an expert panel discuss what it means for business as part of a live Q&A session.

A buffet Lunch is also included as part of the event, which takes place between 11:30am and 2pm at the Business Solutions Centre’s Innovation 1st Visualisation Centre at the University of Wolverhampton Science Park.

Gary Dimmock, Business Solutions Centre Manager, said: “We’re delighted to be hosting this event to mark the 2018 Budget statement and we’d love to see as many local businesses here as possible.

“It is a fantastic opportunity to view the Budget first hand as well as to hear from the experts on what it means for them and how it may affect business across the Black Country and West Midands region.”

The event is free but attendees are asked to register via the website beforehand.
