Students at the University of Wolverhampton are marking FA Girls’ Football Week by kicking off a special tournament.
The Ladies 3v3 Tournament will take place on Friday, 10 November 2017 from 2pm.
Teams of up to four players, who can be students or members of the community, will take on the challenge at the University’s Walsall Campus.
The victorious team will win tickets to watch England’s Women take on Bosnia Herzegovina on November 24 at the Banks’s Stadium in Walsall.
Organiser Chloe Chapman, who is studying Physical Education, said: “This tournament is a fantastic opportunity for all ladies of different ages and ability to come together and enjoy the game of football that we all love. 3V3 is a brilliant way for players to socialise with each other and create a bond during the game. I am running this tournament to get as many ladies playing football as possible during FA Girls’ Football Week.”
To enter a team, email: C.Chapman97@hotmail.co.uk or contact the University’s Walsall Sports Centre reception.
FA Girls’ Football Week runs from 6 -12 November 2017.
