The University’s Arena Theatre will be working in partnership with Provincia di Forli- Cesena Italy, GobEx Spain, Access Culture Paris through the Creative Europe programme to run the Theatres for All Project this year.

The project will focus on creating productions for hearing impaired audiences and will look at sharing the best practices for translation and performance of works with participants.

The Project will start on Monday, 8 June 2015 and will end on Tuesday, 31 January 2017.

Venue Manager of the Arena Theatre and Performance hub, Neil Reading said: “This is an exciting project that the department is really looking forward to being a part of as we are being able to create and run productions for targeted audiences in productions that people do not get to see every day.

“We are keen to be a part of a project that recognises the need to celebrate art and its value among all communities.

“I am confident that everyone involved in the T4ALL project will hugely benefit from it”

The project aims to deliver four actions plans in four different countries.

This is the first of two Creative Europe Small Scale Cooperation Projects for the University this year.
