University celebrates 40 years of KTP initiative

07/08/2015

The University of Wolverhampton will host a celebratory event to mark the 40th anniversary of a successful scheme which boosts businesses through academic collaboration.

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) link companies with a graduate and academic experts to improve competitiveness, productivity and performance.
The University has a very successful track record with KTPs and is using the milestone anniversary to highlight the initiative and encourage businesses to find out more about what is on offer.

The event will include networking opportunities and a poster competition open to previous and existing KTP Associates and affiliates from its sister programme KEEN (the Knowledge and Exchange Enterprise Network).

Clare Mackinnon, KTP Manager said: “The KTP programme is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to explore innovative initiatives that will give them a competitive edge with the support of not only a graduate but also the expertise of a University academic.”

Business people, graduates and academics are welcome to join celebrations at the Rosalind Franklin Building on September 10 from 5pm-7pm.

Anyone interested in attending can book at: https://uowktpat40.eventbrite.co.uk.
