Find out more about postgraduate study

14/02/2011

A Postgraduate Open Evening will take place on Thursday, 24 February 2011 from 5.30pm to 8pm.

The event is open to all and will be held in the University’s MX Building in Camp Street, Wolverhampton.

Visitors will be able to talk to the experts about full and part-time programmes for postgraduate taught qualifications or individual research.

There will be talks from lecturers about a wide range of subject areas including psychology, teacher training, health and wellbeing, dance, technology, business and popular culture, as well as an opportunity to view art students' work and find out more about careers.

Postgraduate Marketing Manager, Helen Robinson, said: “In tough economic times, a postgraduate qualification can make all the difference when you’re applying for jobs or hoping to enhance your career.

“Many of our courses offer the flexibility to build studies around weekly commitments, so people will be able to discuss the method of study that suits them best, whether it is full-time or part-time. Visitors will have the opportunity to speak to our current students and a member of our alumni, as well as find out more about all the support available.”
