Calling all alumni!

The event will take place at the Molineux Stadium, Wolverhampton, on Friday, 3 February 2012 from 7pm.

Organised to mark the first anniversary of the successful Contact us, the aim is to bring graduates from across the years back together to celebrate their successes and the achievements of the alumni community as a whole.

The reunion is open to Wolverhampton graduates of all years, plus a guest, and will include a drinks reception, buffet and live entertainment.

Honorary graduates, including high profile figures within their industry, are also invited to the event, which will be opened by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Geoff Layer.

Alumni Services Manager Amy Roberton said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming our graduates to our first ever reunion. Our Alumni Association offers graduates an extended family through which they can engage with the University and each other to help them achieve their personal and professional aspirations.

“As well as giving old friends the chance to catch up, the reunion will be a great opportunity for graduates of all years to network with each other and potentially open up new and exciting doors for them.”

Alumni who have featured in the University’s Graduate to Great campaign will also be attending.

The WLV Alumni Association launched in November 2010 and now has more than 57,000 members.

Alumni and Development at the University aims to create a truly global community. The University strives to equip graduates with the skills and knowledge required for their career but also to remain a permanent source of support throughout their lives.

Building on the foundations of the last 12 months, and using the University’s strategic priorities to underpin activities, Alumni and Development will dedicate the next year to re-engaging the alumni community and re-awakening their interest and affiliation with the University to achieve this vision.

Spaces are limited at the reunion and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. People can find out more about the event and book their place at:
