Marketing student wins international award

Jeremy Bridgman was presented with the Worldwide Top Student and Hays Marketing Recruitment Award by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).

The prestigious award is presented to the person who gains the highest mark for a paper on Managing Corporate Reputation globally.

Jeremy, from Walsall, was also awarded with a £860 scholarship towards completing part 2 of the Chartered Postgraduate Diploma.

The 52-year-old completed the CIM Professional Postgraduate Diploma at the in June and is also a Lecturer at Walsall College.

He said: “I am thrilled to have won this award, which is great recognition for all the hard work. I am looking forward to beginning work on the next stage of my qualification.”

Sue Rennie, Head of the Marketing and Enterprise department and CIM Course Leader, said: “We are all very pleased about Jeremy winning this award and it is a good recognition of the leading position we have globally with CIM course delivery. CIM enables the student to become a good practitioner in Marketing and further enhances our ability to offer innovative marketing solutions to local businesses.”

Jeremy was presented with the prestigious award at the CIM graduation ceremony recently.
