Breakfast meeting for Shropshire businesses

The event at the Telford Campus on Tuesday, 20 May, 2008 will give people the opportunity to network and share ideas about business opportunities in the county.Breakfast meeting for Shropshire businesses
 
The key speakers are Anne Taylor, from Transforming Telford, who will talk about plans for Telford and Shropshire, and Nick Graham, Chief Executive of Shropshire Chamber of Commerce. Nick will give an overview of the challenges facing the county and role of the Chamber.
 
The University has recently refurbished the meeting room facilities in Priorslee Hall, which local companies and individuals can hire for up to 80 people. Priorslee Hall is a Grade 1 Listed building on the Telford Campus. The two-month project was undertaken by the University’s Facilities Department with local contractors, Hi-Interiors.
 
Conference Development & Events Manager, Louise Callaghan, said: “The event will give people from businesses of all sizes the chance to network and find out what is happening in the area. It will also give people the opportunity to see the excellent refurbished conference facilities at Priorslee Hall.”
