Appointments

Professor Christine Pascal, a Specialist Advisor for Early Years to the House of Commons’ Select Committee on Education and Skills, and Professor Tony Bertram, a Specialist Advisor to the Minister for Children and Young People, have both been appointed as Visiting Professors of Early Years Education and Care.
 
Prof Pascal and Prof Bertram are both founding members of the European Early Childhood Education Research Association (EECERA) and co-directors of the Centre for Research in Early Childhood in Birmingham.
 
Professor Sally Tomlinson, Emeritus Professor at Goldsmiths College, University of London, has been appointed as Visiting Professor of Education for Social Inclusion and Social Justice. Professor Tomlinson is a highly respected academic and senior researcher, who has published more than 20 books and over 100 journal articles and book chapters.
