Students, Clubs and Society Bookings

How and when students can request Central Teaching Rooms (CTRs) for non-teaching events.

Individual students, or Clubs and Societies that are recognized by the University of Wolverhampton Students' Union, may book any available CTR.

Process for Booking - Individual Students

  • Students not affiliated with a club or society may book any available space up to five working days in advance for meetings, group work, rehearsals, quiet study etc.

Please include the following in your email:

  • Name
  • Student Number
  • Reason for Booking
  • Campus (e.g. City, Walsall, Telford etc.)
  • Room Type (e.g. Tables and chairs, hostess chairs etc.)
  • Date and Time requested.

Performance Hub Bookings

Students studying performing Arts courses can book certain rooms within the Performance Hub. Students should log into e:Vision, go to Help and Contacts and log a Helpdesk call to submit their booking request to the Hub technicians.

Process for Booking - Clubs and Societies

  • All club and society bookings should be made via the Students' Union
  • Please contact the Activities Vice President via email: or phone 01902 322047
  • Cancellations should also be made via Students' Union.

Room availability

To check whether a particular room is free on a particular date, use the Online Timetable.

External Events

Room booking requests for conferences or any event which involves external parties or the charging of any fee must be made via Conferencing. Conferencing is responsible for determining charges for the use of centrally managed space for external events. Exams & Timetabling Unit will only allocate rooms for any such event via Conferencing.
