The University of Wolverhampton working in partnership with TUC unionlearn to create new learning opportunities for union members to develop their careers.
Areas of development include Part Time studies (full courses or modules), Higher Level and Degree Level Apprenticeships, University level Continuing Professional Development courses and other aspiration-raising initiatives.
The University is the only one in the Midlands to partner with TUC unionlearn and is currently working with unions to develop an education and training strategy to support higher education opportunities for people in work who want to upskill, redevelop or progress and to create opportunities for Union Learning Representatives (ULR) who champion training and development in the workplace.
The 10% discount is available for three years from January 2016. The 10% discount may be extended beyond this period.
