Launch Event: 17th October 2017

Help shape the future of the Wolverhampton City Learning Region

The launch of the Wolverhampton City Learning Region initiative will take place on Tuesday 17th October 2017, midday to 2pm.

The launch will provide:

  • an introduction to the concept of Learning Cities/Regions
  • the reasons for developing it,
  • an analysis of the social and economic context underpinning it,
  • ask your views on how we can work in partnership to address some of the common challenges facing our region.

To be successful the initiative will need to be owned and driven by all sectors and the launch represents the first opportunity to shape its future.

Given the development of the Combined Authority and the Midlands Engine, the initiative must focus on Wolverhampton and its hinterland, whilst building across the region so we hope that you can join us to determine the direction and priority actions.

Date and Time:

Tuesday 17th October, midday to 2pm.

Presentations will start at midday and will be followed by a complimentary networking lunch until 2pm.
