Emma is responsible for the provision of high quality professional services that help the University run effectively and efficiently. The role has a central focus on delivering change with a strong customer orientation.
Emma represents the University the AHUA: The Association of Heads of University Administration which is the representative body for senior University managers. As part of her role she is responsible for the areas of Estates and Facilities, External Engagement, Human Resources, IT Services, Registry, Student and Academic Services.
Emma joined the University in July 2017 having previously held senior leadership and management roles at Imperial College, Royal Holloway and Queen Mary University of London.
Emma graduated from University of Leeds with a degree in Human Geography and completed a PG Diploma in Information Studies at University of North London and a Diploma in Management at Birkbeck, University of London. Emma also holds a Level 7 award from the Chartered Management Institute for Strategic Coaching and Mentoring.
