Jim Oatridge is an experienced director in the public, private and third sectors with knowledge of local government, the water industry and health, utility regulation and charity governance.
As Lay Member for Governance on Wolverhampton CCG’s governing body, he is responsible for ensuring that governance and assurance processes are in place, are effective and contribute positively to the development of health services for the people of Wolverhampton.
He has held a number of non-executive directorships in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, including six years at Wolverhampton Primary Care Trust, latterly as its Chairman.
He would like Wolverhampton CCG to improve the quality of healthcare services provided to the city in a financially objective way and increase public involvement in the decision making process.
A director at Severn Trent plc until 2005, he was awarded an OBE in 2003 for services to the UK and global water industries.
