The University is a Fairtrade University in a Fairtrade City. One of our core values as an organisation is to be ethical - and our commitment to Fairtrade is just one of the ways in which we demonstrate this.
During Fairtrade Fortnight, we're offering buy one, get one free across a wide range of Fairtrade products from our shops, coffee outlets and restaurants.
Your support will help us to support Fairtrade producers.
The Business School will also welcome Sheena Biju, Fairtrade coffee and spice producer, and manager of a coffee co-operative in Kerala, India.
Fairtrade Fortnight is this year inspiring people to sit down and have a Fairtrade breakfast together. This is to support the farmers who grow the food and drinks we have every morning, such as coffee, tea, cocoa and bananas. Visit www.fairtrade.org.uk/breakfast to find out more and to register your Fairtrade breakfast.
We are looking for interested volunteers to join our Fairtrade Action Group at the University, a joint initiative with the Students’ Union. If you would like more information or to get involved please drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org.
