Results Support

Getting your results can be stressful.  This is particularly true when you don’t get the results you hoped for or you don’t understand what they mean.

Your Faculty Office will be able to offer you advice following the publication of results, week commencing 5th June.

Remember that for specific queries about individual results you should contact your module leader/tutor and for specific advice on the resit requirements you should visit WOLF or CANVAS in the first instance.

In addition, following the publication of resit results, week commencing 7th August, you may wish to attend one of our results surgeries which will be taking place on Monday 7th to Wednesday 9th August from 11am-4pm in the Students' Union, Ambika Paul Building, City Campus.

You can come in and see us or complete the form below (available from 4th August) to ask questions about your results, your options for appeal or to discuss the implications of your results for your ongoing studies, finances or visa requirements.

We can:

  • help you to understand the academic regulations for your course and how they apply to your particular circumstances.
  • advise you on the academic appeals process (but please be aware that if you have grade which is lower than you expected it is very unlikely that you will have grounds to appeal).
  • put you in contact with other University support such as Academic Skills advice, Student Enabling Centre, Counselling and Faculty/subject specific advice and support.
