Once the registration form (including the email agreement) and CORE forms have been completed your counsellor will email you to invite you to write a little bit about yourself and why you are seeking help. You can write as many emails as you wish, however, the overall content should not exceed approximately 500 words per week. At regular intervals you will also be asked to complete a CORE form, which helps to give an overall impression as to how you are.
Your counsellor will respond to your email(s) within a given time frame (see ‘Availability’ below). You will be offered up to the equivalent of six 'sessions', that is, we will reply to you six times, which is usually weekly. This number of responses is not always necessary but is usually the maximum. Your counsellor will help you be aware of the number of sessions you have had and will prepare you for the end of your counselling sessions. At the end your counsellor will ask you to complete a Level of Satisfaction form which is a helpful way to give some feedback.
