Our team in The Gateway are here to assist you with everything that becoming a postgraduate involves. This commonly includes help with:

It is normal to have concerns when you are planning to enrol on a qualification but The Gateway is here to ensure you are never alone.

Counselling services

If you find that you need someone to talk to our Counselling Service is here to offer professional, confidential and non-judgemental advice. We want your time as a postgraduate with us to be a happy one and whether your challenges relate to your studies or your personal life we are here to help.

Chaplaincy

The Chaplaincy is a friendly and unique place on campus for people of all faiths and none. It's a comfortable place to relax away from lectures or the office. Whether you want to spend some time with friends or enjoy a moment of quiet contemplation you are always welcome. Our chaplains, from various faiths, are available to offer support or spiritual direction to ensure your time with us is happy and beneficial.

Childcare

If you have children you may be interested in the services of Little Scholars, our subsidised nursery based at City Campus. Little Scholars received an 'Outstanding in all areas' rating after its last Ofsted inspection.

Students Union

The Students' Union (SU) is the representative body for all students at the University of Wolverhampton. Housed in stylish new facilities at City and Walsall Campuses the SU provides a comforting and welcoming environment as well as numerous opportunities to get involved in social and supporting activities.

Our Student Enabling Centre provides a wide range of support services both before you arrive and during your time as a student with us. Whether you have sensory, physical or specific learning difficulties our aim is to provide a service which is tailored to the needs of you as an individual. We believe that all students deserve to have the most enjoyable and rewarding time.
