The ARC and exhibition are both free to attend. The conference is very flexible so attendees can drop into any presentation that takes their fancy (feel free to mix and match).

This is the only conference for all research staff, research students and staff who support research, to showcase research, build networks, participate, and connect with staff and students from across the University. The conference runs over two days as follows.

The University of Wolverhampton’s annual research poster competition gives research students the opportunity to share their research with each other and the research community.

There will be an opportunity for all visitors to the exhibition to take part in a peer review vote, selecting 3 additional winners in the categories below:

This year's programme includes a full day of conference presentations from staff across a number of different discplines. The programme includes in depth presentations, short talks, poster presentations, round table discussions, workshops and performances.
The research student poster exhibition will also be on display.
A presentation within the afternoon session of group 3 contains images of an adult sexual nature, including full frontal nudity – visitor discretion is advised.
As part of the Annual Research Conference (ARC2017) the Doctoral College is running a Doctoral Depictions photo competition.
Doctoral Depictions is another way in which we can share the breadth and quality of research being undertaken by research students and is also an opportunity for students studying at a distance to take part in the conference activities.
Our Research Students were asked to submit a photograph that represents their research. Images can be edited and a range of effects can be added but it must be their own work.
