Typically applicants for doctoral study will have attained a higher degree in an associated subject area.
Successful international applicants will be provided with a standard conditional offer letter requiring in all cases the payment of a deposit. When this and any other conditions stipulated have been met, an unconditional acceptance letter will be issued. If a student visa is refused, the full deposit will be returned upon provision of original documentary evidence that entry clearance has been denied.
If your fees are being paid in full or part by a sponsor you will need to provide documentary evidence of this in the form of an official order or letter signed by an authorised person. This document must identify the extent and duration of the sponsorship.
Entry to the programme will be reviewed on an annual basis, and progression will be conditional on continued satisfactory performance and express recommendation for continuation from the student's supervisors.
