Dr Hilary Paniagua

Hilary PaniaguaHilary works as a Senior Lecturer/Researcher in Primary Care, she is an Author and Editor of the University’s On-line Journal. She is currently Chair of the School of Health and Wellbeing Ethics Committee and alternative Vice-Chair of the Black Country REC.

As a nurse and midwife by background her experience in the NHS includes working as a staff nurse in a gynaecological ward and sister in an Intensive Therapy Unit.

After gaining her academic qualifications she joined the University following on from her specialisation as an advanced nurse practitioner and team leader in the community.  

Her main research interest focuses on the narrative understanding of general practice and how it happens.
