As a University of Wolverhampton student you can access free 1:1 academic skills advice to help you develop and improve your study skills and academic skills techniques. Through the development of these skills you can become a more effective student.
It is an opportunity to have an individual, one-on-one discussion with a Learning and Skills Librarian about your academic or study skills. The advice is not subject-specific. Instead, we aim to develop your independent learning skills by providing advice on general techniques and strategies that you can apply to your subject area.
Drop-in visits usually last for around 20 minutes.

From Thursday 16th May you can meet with a member of the Skills Team for a one-to-one appointment. Appointment times will run from Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. Please contact us to arrange a suitable time.

The maths support centre is open to all students from any school studying any subject in any year. If you want help with any level of mathematics, statistics or numeracy come and ask.
The maths support centre is staffed by the academic staff from the Mathematics department alongside some of our first class graduates and postgraduate mathematics students. We can go through your notes with you, show you extra examples, go through a specific technique with you or teach you how to use the specialist maths or statistical software we have available.
