Useful info:

Do you have a particular learning need? Before booking an appointment with us, we’d recommend you look over the Communication Services page. If you require a BSL interpreter, manual note-taker or other communication support service, please organise this prior to confirming an appointment time.

Is English not your first language? You can also book appointments with an Academic English tutor. Enrol in Academic English Language Skills canvas course https://canvas.wlv.ac.uk/enroll/6AHT8E (it’s free!) to access a variety of online resources and sign up for an online 1to1English tutorial.

Please note that the Skills for Learning team cannot proofread work and cannot offer subject-specific advice. For further information about our support, please download our Skills for Learning Appointment Guidance

Finally, if you and other students are looking for an appointment together we can arrange this. Just contact us with a list of the student names and numbers, and we’ll arrange for a group session.
