This page lists all the tools, services and databases that we are currently trialling in the department. Please feel free to try them out yourself, and we would appreciate your feedback on them.

NOTE: Most of these trials will ask you to log in if you are off campus. Just use your standard University IT username and password.

JournalTOCs

JournalTOCs is a free service that allows users to sign up to receive alerts of new scholarly journals in their subject area (via email or RSS feed). We are currently trialling a customised version of JournalTOCs that enables University of Wolverhampton students and staff to follow journals and link to full text articles from within our subscriptions.

Sign up for an account at http://www.journaltocs.hw.ac.uk/demos/wlv/ using your University email address and a password of your choice.

Databases

ABI/INFORM Global	ABI/INFORM Global™ offers the latest business and financial information for researchers at all levels. It includes in-depth coverage for over 3,730 publications, with more than 2,670 available in full text. Includes ABI/INFORM Archive™. Trial ends 7th June 2012.
Alexander Street Drama	Now being trialled. Includes Alexander Street’s 6 full-text play collections plus a drama reference database, North American Theatre Online.
DynaMed	DynaMed is a clinical reference tool created by physicians for health care professionals. It is updated daily and contains clinically organized summaries for more than 3,200 topics. Trial runs until 17th May 2012
Family Law Journal (Jordans' Family Law Package)	A new site, from Jordans, on trial/test for July 2011
MedicinesComplete	MedicinesComplete provides immediate online access to up-to-date drug information sourced from an extensive range of the world’s most trusted resources. Trial ends 1st June 2012.
Nursing Reference Center	Nursing Reference Center™ is a comprehensive reference tool designed to provide relevant clinical resources to nurses and other health care professionals, directly at the point-of-care. It offers the most recent clinical evidence from thousands of full-text documents.
Theatre in Video	Theatre In Video is being trialled. It contains more than 250 definitive performances of the world's leading plays, together with more than 100 film documentaries, online in streaming video.
