Fines are charged on all overdue items.

Please make sure you renew your items before they are due to avoid being fined. We will send an email reminder to your University email address the day before books are due back and also after items have become overdue.
If you are not receiving these reminders, please ensure emails from email@example.com are not going to your junk mail folder. You can find instructions for doing this in Office365 here. To ensure no email from a University address goes to your junk mail, simply add 'wlv.ac.uk' as a Safe Sender.
Please remember that when you have a fine of more than £25 your library account will be blocked.
There are a number of ways to pay off your fine:
If you think you have lost one of our books please speak to us as soon as possible so that we can help you to resolve the problem. If it is not needed by another borrower we will renew it to give you time to look for it. We will check for it in our learning centres.
If the item is not found we charge a replacement fee of £50 per item, inclusive of handling charge. Alternatively you can supply us with a replacement copy; this may be second-hand but it must be in a clean, usable condition of the same or more recent edition as the one lost.
