IT and Media Facilities in the Learning Centres

All Centres offer:

  • standard office software
  • subject databases on-line
  • full text electronic journals on-line
  • access to the Internet
  • access to e-mail

In order to be able to use these facilities students will need a University IT account.

The Harrison, Telford and Walsall Learning Centres have computer suites that stay open late for your convenience. See the Learning Centre opening hours page for details.

Learning Centre staff can help with basic software and equipment queries. You can also find help with using the Universities IT facilities on the IT Services web pages.

IT Services also provide a University IT Service Desk, which you can ring with any IT related query. If you are a student, you'll need to have your student number handy - it's the 7-digit number on your boarding pass. If you are a member of staff please make sure you have your user name ("in" number) handy.
