As previously notified
Telford Learning Centre will close on 6 July for a period
of roughly 10 weeks. During this time there will be no
access to the Learning Centre or physical book stock.
For staff and students affected at Telford please remember that
all other Learning & Information Services facilities and
resources remain unaffected and available to you:
- 24/7 access to electronic resources, including e-books and e-journals
- virtual enquiry services, by
telephone (0845 4081631) and online chat through our ASSIST service
- all of our other Learning Centres will remain open as normal
throughout this period with both Walsall and City Campus open seven
days a week (0830-0000 Monday-Friday) and 1000-1900 (Saturday and
Sunday)
Learning and Information Services (LIS) will retain a presence
throughout the summer at Telford to provide support. This facility
will be open between 0900-1700 and 1730-2130 Monday to Friday, and
will be located in the main SA building reception area. You will be
able to reserve items online as normal from any of our other
learning centres and collect them at this Help Desk.
Importantly, for Telford book stock which will now be
unavailable for the summer period, we will request the item from
another UK library free of charge if you need it and we don’t have
a copy at another one of our Learning Centres.
