IT Services sets standards for software that is widely used, and also makes recommendations for more specialist software to ensure consistency. This is backed up by a range of services such as installation, training and support through the Service Desk and support teams.

To request software for the machines on the student estate please contact the Service Desk.
Note: Changes to the student desktop are made annually during the Summer vacation. Please let the ITS Service Desk know your future requirements as early as you can.
All PCs supported by IT Services have a set of standard software installed. The Faculty or Department are responsible for funding additional software where required.
