Multi-function devices (MFDs) are increasingly being used for staff printing, so please consider carefully if you need a new printer or whether you could use an MFD. A printer may be appropriate if you print confidential materials, work in a small office and don’t do much colour printing (colour printers cost much more to run than MFDs).
