Entry requirements for students from Libya

International Foundation Year

Education Certificate

Students with a score of 60% would be eligible for the International Foundation Year.

IELTS 5.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in all components is also required.

Undergraduate

Higher Diploma

Students with a minimum score of 65% can be considered for entrance to the second year of a Bachelor programme.

Postgraduate

Bachelor degree

Bachelor degrees from NARIC or government recognised institutions can normally be accepted for Master’s studies.

A score of 75-84% is considered comparable to a UK 2:1.

A score of 65-74% is considered comparable to a UK 2:2.

A score of less than 65% is considered comparable to a UK 3 and would require the completion of a pre-Master’s course.

English Language requirements

English language requirements vary by course and department but are usually the equivalent of IELTS 6.0 with 5.5 in every component.
