Students holding a Standard XII/Intermediate/Higher Secondary Examination with an average of 50% will typically be considered for entrance to the International Foundation year.
IELTS 5.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in all components is also required.
The following qualifications grant exemption from IELTS 5.5 requirements:
Standard XII/Intermediate/Higher Secondary Certificate from the Central Board of Secondary Education or the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination with a minimum score of 55% in English
Standard XII/Intermediate/Higher Secondary Certificate from a State Board with a minimum score of 65% in English
States in India can title the 12th class qualification differently, for instance Karnataka refers to it as a “Second Year Pre-University Examination”.
