Going Places

Going Places with Languages in Europe is a language learning project funded with the support of the European Commission in the context of vocational education. The target group includes teachers and trainers based within the upper secondary education; apprenticeship, vocational and CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) sectors and their learners.

The current DVD is available for German, French and Spanish vocational language learners involved in business, retail, tourism and customer service. At the end stage the Going Places DVD will have been adapted and modified for each of the project partner countries (UK, Germany, Poland and Romania) and the target language.

The Going Places DVD, created by the University of Wolverhampton, has learners follow a virtual student as he enters the working world. Learners gain understanding about socio-cultural aspects through helping the student complete various challenges.
