Employability

The University of Wolverhampton Business School is at the forefront of employability development. We support both our undergraduate and postgraduate students by offering employability initiatives and business engagement opportunities.

Undergraduate work placements and internships

Whether it's a couple of weeks over the summer, or a whole year as part of your degree, work placements and internships are the ideal way to put skills learnt on your course into practice, whilst enhancing your CV and employment prospects.

Mentoring

Our IoD Mentoring Scheme offers a fantastic opportunity for Business School students to seek advice and encouragement from local business directors.

Postgraduate employability

Enhance your career prospects by engaging with our postgraduate employability schemes.

Employability award

The Wolverhampton Employability Award is a brand new way for students to gain recognition for their skills and experience, as well as develop new skills that employers are looking for.

Employability and Placement Unit (EPU)

The EPU is a support unit which provides placement information and employability advice and activities for students within the Business School.

The Unit will assist students in finding a placement, register for employability initiatives. Or you can email, call or arrange a meeting to discuss anything regarding placements, CV advice and interview skills.
